ManpowerGroup BeNeLux is currently looking for a Data Privacy Manager (DPM) for all
legal entities of ManpowerGroup Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Job Description:
The data protection manager (DPM) helps ManpowerGroup BeNeLux in securing compliance
with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Data protection manager is
responsible for overseeing data protection strategy and implementation to ensure
compliance with GDPR requirements.

Main Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Assist ManpowerGroup to monitor internal compliance with GDPR
  • Assist and follow-up any data protection impact assessment and monitor its
    performance (e.g. whether or not to carry out a DPIA, what methodology to follow,
    what safeguards to apply to mitigate any risks, whether DPIA conclusions are in
    compliance with the GDPR)
  • Prioritize his activities and focus efforts on issues that present higher data protection
    risks (methodology to be carried out, data protection audit, needed training
    activities, coordination with relevant departments, etc.)
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of all data processing activities conducted by
    the company, including the purpose of all processing activities, which must be made
    public on request and ensuring completion thereof together with the business;
  • Cooperate with the supervisory authority in case of issues and/or complaints relating
    to processing in close collaboration with all internal stakeholders;
  • Interfacing with data subjects to inform them about how their data is being used,
    their rights to have their personal data erased, and what measures the company has
    put in place to protect their personal information, including creation of data privacy
    policies in close collaboration with the relevant departments within ManpowerGroup;
  • Educating the management and employees on important compliance requirements
  • Training staff involved in data processing
  • Conducting audits to ensure compliance and address potential issues proactively
  • You are responsible for the follow up and analysis of the regulation (and in
    particular the Data Protection law and the General Data Protection Regulation) and
    you take care of the required conversion into internal instructions. Besides that you
    overview that these instructions are complied with via the setting up of the required
    monitoring and drafting preventive and corrective measures where necessary. In this
    context you support the business and will be closely involved in projects for the
    development of new products or new activities (including topics in relation to data
    privacy in respect of contractual negotiations). A close cooperation with business,
    Quality, HR, Legal, Risk Management Committee and Inspection is required. As such
    you contribute to the success of the ManpowerGroup strategy via participation in
    and constructive support of projects like the Cloud, digitalisation, Big Data
    and other initiatives, related to the business culture of ManpowerGroup.
  • You are responsible for drafting, communicating and keeping up to date of the
    Privacy Policies, data processing agreements and privacy clauses.
  • Special attention will be needed for the exchange of data within the diverse group
    entities.

Candidate Profile:

  • DPM shall be designated on the basis of professional qualities and, in
    particular, expert knowledge of data protection law and practices combined
    with the necessary pragmatic approach
  • Academic background : Legal, audit or IT security
  • It is a relevant element that DPM should have expertise in national and European
    data protection laws and practices, and a thorough understanding of the
    GDPR
  • Understanding of the processing operations carried out, information technology, and
    data security is required
  • Knowledge of the business sector and of the organization of the controller is an asset
  • Excellent management skills and the ability to interface easily with internal staff
    at all levels as well as outside authorities
  • Strong communication skills to play a key role in fostering a data protection
    culture within the organization and helps to implement essential elements of the
    GDPR
  • Excellent team-player, client minded and service oriented, yet assertive.
  • Strong analytical skills, combined with a natural drive to improve processes
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch/English/French
