A new ‘global order’ is emerging in the world of work

 

On Labor Day, ManpowerGroup identified 21 trends shaping the post-covid world of work. Existing trends are accelerating – demographic shifts, rise of individual choice, growing client sophistication, technological revolution – driving a transformation of the world of work on an unprecedented scale as a result of the global health, economic and social crisis. Coupled with uncertainty and emerging new trends, organizations need to transform their workforce to ensure they have the skills and competencies needed to retrain and retool for an uncertain future.

 ManpowerGroup recommends that organizations prepare for the 2021 trends impacting talent and the new ‘global order’ in the world of work by:

– Creating greater workforce flexibility;

– Strengthening talent sustainability and worker well-being;

– Powering digital transformation;
